Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Development: Drive primary and secondary sales in the General Trade (GT) channel for the assigned territory, ensuring consistent growth and target achievement.
- Distributor Management: Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and stockists to strengthen the distribution network in Gurgaon.
- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives (SRs) and Field Sales Officers (FSOs) to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Retail Coverage: Ensure optimal coverage of retail outlets through effective beat planning and execution. Build strong relationships with retailers to improve product visibility and shelf space.
- Promotions & Visibility: Execute trade marketing initiatives, in-store promotions, and display drives to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Inventory & Order Management: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment of products at distributor and retail levels.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions. Provide actionable insights to the management for strategic decision-making.
- Reporting & Analysis: Maintain daily sales reports, market feedback, and beat-wise performance metrics. Share periodic updates with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and maintaining consistent service levels.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in FMCG General Trade sales, preferably in the Gurgaon region
• Strong understanding of distribution management, retail dynamics, and local market nuances
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-handling skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and sales tracking apps
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
