Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Executives to drive sales performance. Provide ongoing training, support, and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Ensure product availability, distribution effectiveness, and compliance with company guidelines.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint in the general trade market.
- Ensure the implementation of promotional activities and campaigns at the ground level to boost product sales and brand awareness.
- Monitor stock levels with distributors and retailers, ensuring products are available for sale while minimizing excess inventory.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Implement channel strategies and monitor the execution of price and promotional strategies in the general trade channel.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in an FMCG isndustry in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the FMCG market, distribution networks, and sales strategies.
- Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
