Key Responsibilities :
- Develop replicate seasonings samples provided by marketing and Sales.
- Create independent USP, for regional and international profiles.
- Associate and develop products with culinary applications team for new USPs.
- Create product code, bench mark standard and identify quality parameters to be followed.
- Engage suppliers and maintain constant update of database and new ingredients or raw materials, available in the market with the knowledge of the reporting head.
- Report project status and schedule new developments based on priority.
- Developing seasonings improving existing blends and developing new blends Development.
- Develop products from conception to production that meet customer’s specifications and needs.
- Should be well versed with B2B product trends, ingredients and solutions in dry seasonings, knowledge of wet seasonings would be appreciated.
- Complete and manage assigned research & development projects, within scheduled time frames.
- Develop products within cost parameters.
- Responsibilities include formulation and costing.
- Bench Marking of Market Samples (Indian and Abroad).
- Raw Material, database (Food Ingredients, Additives, Flavours, Etc.) with knowledge of supplier source.
- Vendor Development (New Vendor Supplier Technology development)
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology
- 8-10 years of experience in culinary product development Experience in new product development, project management, and product lifecycle management
- Strong analytical skills, market research capabilities, and business acumen
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of food industry trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of successful product launches and driving innovation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology
- Must have experience of seasoning creation/culinary expertise
